The Barclay Hotel is frequently praised for its exceptionally spacious rooms, some even described as suites, offering plenty of room to relax. Its central location near Robson Street puts guests within easy reach of downtown Vancouver's restaurants, shops, and attractions, and within walking distance to the waterfront. The comfortable beds and the option to open windows are commonly appreciated. Some guests have noted that the building shows its age, but overall, the hotel is considered a good value, especially given the convenient location and room sizes.

clean hotel amazing staff stellar recommendation
I got a Standard Queen Room, and it was really spacious. The price felt very fair for such a nice, clean hotel! Bob at the front desk was amazing. He gave me stellar recommendations for cafes nearby.
My room's layout felt a little odd, and it was hard to get comfortable without moving things around!
